#What is SoroFes?

Online World Competition with SoroTouch

SoroFes is an online mental calculation competition where you can enjoy competing with friends from all over the world by using the app "SoroTouch" and the classroom system app “SoroRoom”. These apps allow you to enjoy learning "Abacus-style mental calculation" on a tablet.

Competition Background

We started this event during the difficult period of Covid-19 in 2020.
Our goal was to hold a fun event for children, and to facilitate more connections between children from all over the world.
The joy of competing and excitement of winning has made many stories.

About SoroFes 2022

Using the classroom system app "SoroRoom", participants will use their mental calculation abilities to compete across beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. Participants will join via Zoom on one device and SoroTouch on another. They will compete in one-minute competitions across addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division events. The SoroTouch classes are available in nine countries and regions. Children from around the world use the universal languge, "Numbers", to connect and compete. In addition, the competition will be held in in English and Japanese. We have an individual competition as well as group competitions between classrooms.

*This is a guideline for the time that participants should secure. For those who will participate in both individual and team competitions, we will adjust the match times so that you can participate in both matches.
*Group Competition is tournament style. Therefor, the winner will compete in another round. The Individual Competition and the Group Competition will not be at the same time.
*The competition time will be announced by the 27th of May (Fri).

How to participate

Please prepare two devices

Compete using calculation
with people around the world using Zoom!

Participants will need one device for SoroTouch, and one device for Zoom
PC or Smartphone devices for using Zoom
will be needed.

Please Participate with these hats on! Use it by printing on an A4 paper, buid using glue or stapler and color it as you like.
