Tomoya’s (Grade7)mother

Number one after-school activity

I took SoroTouch from kindergarten to the third grade of elementary school. At that time, I had a mental arithmetic competition with my eldest son, who was in the third grade of junior high school and had taken the junior high school entrance exam. He gave up on mental arithmetic with more than 10 words, and I was really surprised that Tomoya, who was in the third grade of elementary school, was much faster. When the number of words increased, abacus-style mental arithmetic was by far the most advantageous.

Unlike a regular abacus, learning with a tablet seemed fun for my child. At the time, we hadn’t given him any games, so he thought of SoroTouch as a game and enjoyed working on it every day. He was happy when his friend’s mother was surprised when he showed her his mental arithmetic, so he kept on working. I think SoroTouch was part of the game for my child.

He told me that SoroTouch was very helpful in his junior high school entrance exam. His sense of numbers became sharper, and he was able to predict the formulas faster. He was able to solve problems faster because he could calculate as quickly as he could. Not wasting time on calculations is a great advantage in exams.

In addition, his mental arithmetic skills are also very useful in junior high school mathematics. He says that it is very useful not only for algebraic calculations, but also for finding angles in geometry. He has taken various lessons up until now, but he says that “Sorotouch is the lesson he is most glad he has taken so far.” He is truly grateful to have found Sorotouch.
