Fostering confidence through experiences that enhance abilities from an early age ultimately nurtures a “Growth Mindset” and “Perseverance,” laying the foundation for all learning!
The importance of STEM education is being emphasized as a way to cultivate creativity. As computational thinking and first-principles thinking are driving forces behind creating new value in today’s world, it is clear that mathematics serves as the source of innovation. However, you cannot teach mathematics directly to a five-year-old. Before that comes arithmetic, which is a universal foundation, and its entry point is calculation. A dislike for mathematics often begins with a dislike for calculation at the very start. Our goal is to develop calculation abilities in early childhood through enjoyable methods, building confidence in the universal language of science—and the world’s only universal language—numbers.
Through real experiences of growth and achievement, children develop a Growth Mindset—the belief that they can improve through effort and experience—and Perseverance, the ability to see things through. These qualities form the foundation for all learning and support their passions, regardless of whether those passions lie in STEM fields or elsewhere in the future. Through ability development with SoroTouch, we aim to contribute to unlocking the limitless potential within each individual.
